Optimisation of CFD simulation for Komondor

Europe/Budapest
Description

In the online workshop the content of previous workshop will be summarized. The hardware architecture of cpu partition will be discussed. Also the compiling procedure will be over-viewed and experience among the audience will be shared. An example on parallel performance measurement will be shown using previously discussed tutorial case. The effect of various partitioning methods will be shown. Some examples for solver optimization will be presented.

It is aimed to summaries also the experience collected by the audience in bullet points (shared after the workshop).

Lecturer: Dr. Máté Lohász (Senior R&D Engineer, MVM EGI Zrt.; HPC expert, KIFÜ)

Language: English, Hungarian

Prerequisites: Login to Komondor, basics Linux knowledge, experience with OpenFOAM on Komondor.

The event is recommended for those who would like to learn about the possibilities of OpenFOAM with tutorial support. Participants will be sent a guide before the workshop with detailed information on HPC portal registration and access.
