The focus of the entry-level workshop will be on the KIFÜ's new supercomputer, Komondor. The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with the essential basics of using the new cluster in a short, hands-on event. During the event, we will jointly review the hardware and software environment of the machine, connectivity and data movement options, available compilers, and how to compile and run multi-threaded, multi-processing or GPU-based programs.

Lecturer: dr. László Környei (Associate Professor Associate at the Széchenyi István University; HPC expert at KIFÜ)

Language of the course: English

The event is recommended for those who would like to try out the new supercomputer with hands-on support and have user-level Linux command-line skills.

We will send to the participants a handout prior to the workshop with detailed information on how to register on the HPC portal and log in to Komondor.
